Welcome to my blog! I’m Jennifer – a lover of God, a wife and a stay-at-home mom. Todd and I have been married for 6 wonderful years. Can you believe we met on match.com?!?! Well, when all your friends are in relationships, what better way to meet people than a dating website! Once we knew we were in it for the long hall, we eloped in Laguna Beach, CA with just our pastor, a couple friends and family members. Six weeks later we had our “big” wedding with all of those near and dear to our hearts. Todd got to spend a lot of money and I got to wear “the dress”…every woman’s dream, right?

We now have a 5-year-old son, Ryan, who is the sweetest little thing in the entire world. He definitely lights up my life! I’m lucky to be a stay-at-home mom, after years of working as an elementary teacher and reading teacher. I get to spend every second with my little man and I cherish every moment of it!

We also have a teenager {holy cow} – 15 years of age! Ruby, my step-daughter, has the kindest heart and is growing up to be a lovely lady. She’s also the one that makes me realize I’m getting older! Ha, ha!

Oh, and I can’t forget our dog, Charlie. She was my first “baby” after we got married. As a puppy, I remember taking care of her in the middle of the night when she couldn’t sleep or she wanted to go outside to the bathroom. It was definitely practice for having a baby. She’s 6 years old now which makes her a cuddler and lover during her mature years. She even likes to sit on the back of the sofa and lick Todd’s hair gel off his head! (If you’re a dog owner, that’s not weird to you!)
